Reworked Designs

Snow Day Project

Ya’ll remember how I got my Cricut machine a few weeks ago, hated it, and almost gave up on ever being good at anything? Well, I can’t say that I’ve mastered it, but I can say that I kinda sorta figured it out finally. I think I know what I’m doing now, and I’ve successfully completed 4 projects. My latest one was my biggest one yet, so I wanted to share it with you guys!

I was inspired to create a sign with our name and the year we got married, you know like all the cool people do on Pinterest. (I still envy all you people who come up with these ideas on your own.) My husband had some leftover wood from a table he made recently, so I decided to use that since it was smooth. I cut it down to the size I needed (12×16) and stained the board. Then, using my handy-dandy Cricut, I designed the print. Final step was to apply the vinyl to the board (which I’m still not very good at so I almost ruined it twice) and viola!
